What to Expect

Initial Consultation

At your Initial Consultation, you can expect to spend 45 minutes at the practice. During this time, we will take a full history of both your current complaint and previous medical history. If appropriate, this will be followed by a full chiropractic, orthopaedic and neurological examination, the results of which will help us to determine the extent of your condition and your need for x-rays. 

Initial Follow Up

At the end of your initial consultation we will book a follow up appointment to report on your findings, this appointment will be approximately 30 minutes. At this time, we will fully discuss the results of your examination and x-rays (if they were required), so you can understand your condition and make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed with our care recommendations. If you wish to start care, you will be adjusted on this visit.

Standard Consultations

Any following visits will be approximately 15 minutes in duration at which time your spine will be fully checked and any necessary adjustments will be delivered, along with home advice and relevant rehabilitation information.

Additional Examinations

Additional examinations will be conducted at regular intervals to check your progress. As our care is based on constantly improving your original exam results and working towards your health goals, the frequency of these examinations will vary on an individual basis though usually occur every 6-12 visits. These visits will be at an additional $25 fee and will be a longer appointment.
